Eine der Hauptattraktion ist sicherlich das fahren in einem echten U-Boot im Roten Meer. Es gibt 2 Anbieter. Im Sindbad Beach Hotel gibt es eine U-Boot Basis mit einem echten U-Boot. Ein U-boot ähnliches Schiff, das Aquascope. Es ist aber kein echtes U-Boot, sondern man sitzt nur knapp unterhalb der Wasserlinie.
Das Aquascope ist gut die Hälfte günstiger als das U-Boot (ca. 30 Euro pro Person, stand 2007)im Sindbad Beach Resort. Natürlich bewegt sich das Schiff um die Riffe im roten Meer und man kann sehr gut die Unterwasserwelt beobachten.

One of the most interesting facilities to do in Hurghada, make trip by a submarine. The base is the Sindbad Beach Hotel. There's another one, where you can see the riffs below the water line, the Aquascope, but this isn't a real submarine, on the other hand it's much cheaper (about the half price of the submarine). In 2007 it was about 30 Euro per person.
